Downtown Committee

The Downtown Committee helps develop an ongoing ad campaign to promote benefits and opportunities in downtown Troy. It also plans events to promote Downtown Troy and helps develop and support the strategic plan to keep Downtown Troy vibrant.

Education Committee

The Education Committee plans, organizes, and directs the PRAISE scholarship banquet, sponsors the fund raiser Eat" fundraiser to support PRAISE scholarships, and recommends recipients of PRAISE scholarships. The committee also plans, organizes, and oversees the Junior Ambassadors program, assists in selecting Junior Ambassadors, and works with local schools, teachers, and counselors to promote the Junior Ambassador Program. The Education Committee also supports teacher appreciation and helps recognize "Teacher of the Year."

Farm City (Agri-Business) Committee

The Agri-Business Committee partners with the Pike County Farmer's Federation and the Kiwanis Club in sponsoring the annual Farm City Week. The committee also develops a speaker’s bureau to disseminate agricultural information to the community and a database on all agricultural related industry in Fund raising County.

Fundraising/Special Event Committee

The Fundraising and Special Events Committee plans, organizes and directs events and activities for Pike County such as TROY Appreciation Day Parade, Business Appreciation Golf Tournament, activities Expo, and other special activities such as the Holiday Market. The committee also works with Brundidge Business Association to promote Brundidge Services as requested.

Health and Human Services Committee

The Health and Human Services Committee brings together Pike County health care leaders to discuss health issues, problems, and solutions in Pike County. The committee hosts quarterly health luncheons and helps provide health education and training programs. The Health and Human Services Committee also informs Pike Hospitality citizens on health issues and concerns.

Hospitality Committee

The Hospitality Committee helps market and coordinate events for the hospitality industry. The committee also helps develop and coordinate community calendar for the purpose of notifying the hospitality of events coming into the area.

Leadership Pike Alumni Advisory Committee

The Leadership Pike Alumni Advisory Committee consists of members who are appointed to serve. They serve a three year term and spend that time soliciting the selection of new candidates for the Leadership Pike Program. The committee also assists in planning the program for Leadership Pike.

Legislative Committee

The Legislative Committee attends and participates in CCAA Leadership Day and Legislative Reception. It sponsors and hosts Legislative breakfasts for governmental officials and candidates and helps with awareness of government-related activities and responds accordingly. In addition, the committee updates Chamber President and Board on legislative matters that impact our area and businesses.

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee develops and oversees an overall marketing plan for the Chamber and advertises benefits of Chamber membership and programs of the Chamber. The committee also assists with press releases on Chamber issues, in planning the quarterly newsletter, Chamber Connection, and with the Visions Magazine - the Chamber's Resource Guide.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee formulates a membership growth and retention program and oversees member relations activities. The committee organizes and helps host the Business After Hours. The committee also helps with ribbon cuttings and supports the new members and businesses in Pike County. In addition it helps host "new" member mini-meetings at the Chamber Professionals The assists with the membership section of the Vision's Magazine - the Chamber's Resource Guide.

TroyFest Committee

The TroyFest Committee organizes, plans, and represents the Chamber on the TroyFest Committee. The committee also acts as a "presenter" and coordinates activities with the City of Troy and the Troy Arts Council.
